There have been a couple of beautiful days. And awhat a wonderful day to praise the Lord than on a beautiful day like today.
I am so thankful to God everyday. He has given me so many more chances at life. Just when we all think I am on my last days my prayers have been answered. Today I woke up full of energy. I decided to take full advantage of this sudden burst of energy. It was a beautiful day outside and I had some outdoor chairs that seriously needed to be cleaned. My apartment complex used to leave the outdoor water spickets for our use until some started washing their cars. Therefore, in order to wash my chairs I had to bring them in one at a time into my shower/tub. It was wonderful finally having clean chairs to sit in without placing a towel on them to enjoy the weather.
I decided to do some spring cleaning as well, but I didn't let it keep me from going outside. No, I still went for my walk and took some mail to the mailbox. The weather here was so beautiful, it was hard to do anything but to just stay outside and find things to do. I am still wishing it was daylight, it is still in the 70's and just beautiful. Thinking of pouring a glass of redwine and sitting out on the front porch. I still have energy, and I am guessing that tomorrow I may not be so lucky, so I am soaking it all in! Take advantage of these beautiful Spring Days everyone. Have the energy enjoy the day! I advocate for Crohns Disease Awareness for myself and others. It really doesn't surprise me how many people are unaware of the devastating effects it has on our bodies up to and including death. I was diagnosed in 2009, I personally didn't know anything about it except it was painful. I did a lot of research to educate myself.
I actually believe it set quietly while i was a child because i have had problems since i was a child. Then in my 30's those problems became worse. Stomach flus don't last 1-2 weeks but mi b e did and i ended up in the ER due to being dehydrated. I missed a lot of work because of it, but had no diagnosis. Finally in 2009, i had a diagnosis.
