I finally got my new IV Pump today! I am very excited about that! You would be too, if you were on fluids everyday. I was always thinking if there was only a way to put it in the back pack...someone beat me to the punch! Now, I can be free, and not worry about being dehydrated! All fluids I take by mouth exit through the ileostomy, leaving me yet again dehydrated.
When a person eats and drinks, your food enters your mouth where you chew the food, then swallow down the esophagus. As it goes down the esophagus and enters into your stomach. Your stomach produces 2 liters of acid a day, and the stomach uses it to help break down food and sends it to your small intestines. Your small intestines does 90% of the work, including absorption of nutrients then it goes into the colon where it pulls fluids/water, then down to the rectum and anus. And, I think we all know what happens there.
However, those who have CD and GP our gastric highways have many roller coasters that many do not see. And, since they can't see it, you are not that sick, you are making yourself sick, you are making it up, and you need to quit hogging SS You could work, a basic job, and refuse to because I am SELFISH! Finding out my diagnosis had me in so many different feelings and pulled me in different directions, because it has been and can be a death sentence. Then the diagnosis of Gastroparesis another disease that can take my life. Scariest part, my grandmother had gastric cancer, and my uncle had colon cancer. So I have to make an appointment with the oncologist to find out my test results.
OMG! Could one more Student Loan Forgiveness call me! Geez! Ok, so my new pump came today, and my fluids had to have the air removed from the bag and kept in the refrigerator. And, I ordered a new back pack from VIBEDRATION. These are designed for hydration, actually hydration for anything. But, thoses in the CD and GP who have to have infusions, it's great! I will be able to move around the house freely while running infusion. Need to go somewhere, hop in the car and go!
As many of you know, I started this account 3 years ago. I started my Facebook account in 2013, and figured out why I didn't make it public. So it went public as a community page in 2014. I also started a Youtube channel 2013. So, in July, I tied all of my accounts together and rebranded. I came up with a way to start and end my vlogs that I export to YouTube. And, as we all know, it takes time to to put a video together. If you want to do something outside your platform, there's nothing wrong with it, I have found it drawls another group of people to myly channel that might not have ever seen my channel. So, when I do something outside of the box, and I look up information and use any of the information, I make sure I save the link. You can still get caught for plagiarizing.
Others are not creative enough to come up with their own opening to their actual vlog. I know what I want, but I might do the opening 10's before I get it right. And, it might take 2-4 hours of editing. People who are deceptive can't see over their nose.
Christmas is coming very quickly! Kids are grown, our granddaughter's first Christmas. I think I am going to buy a few toys, clothes, and couple empty boxes. We all know how much they love the boxes. Yeah, there's a toy, but I want the box!
I am very thankful for my 2 kids who adapted very well living between their father, grandparents, and me. My daughter just got a promotion at work, her boyfriend also works at same company and they have my grandbaby. My son has his place with a roommate. And, he had to get a new car since his was totalled. Now he has had to give some of the fun things that a 20 year old likes to do, but he doesn't make very much. Both of my children absolutely love my husband! Toent over an my son, he is his dad. You know your son truly loves his (step)dad when he has 2 friends with him and before he leaves he bends over and gave my husband a big bear hug!
Nothing more warms my heart than to see someone other than his papaw take interest in him. He was afraid I would grow old by myself, so seeing how much my husband loves me. And, that makes both of my children happy!
